Community Building Camp

— Wholewoods / 2017

The Wholewoods community building camp is a volunteering event that helps make beautiful natural buildings affordable for schools, charities, community groups, trusts, and public organisations who put other people and the environment first.

The camp is professionally tailored for individuals with an interest in round wood timber framing, and an opportunity to be taught key skills and techniques by Adrian Leaman who worked with Ben Law on his now-famous ‘Woodland House’. The camp gives you a chance to learn by collaborating on a real building project and put into practice scribed butter-pat, and mortise and tenon joints for cruck frame buildings, and reciprocal roof roundhouses.
